Affiliate & advertising disclosure
Last updated: Oct 21, 2026
The Chest Mount is independent and reader-supported. This page explains how the site makes money, so you can judge our links for yourself.
Affiliate links
The Chest Mount is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Links on our gear guide, and "Recording gear" boxes that point to it, may be affiliate links. If you buy something after clicking one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are marked as sponsored in the page code.
We link to categories and search results rather than claiming any one product is the best. Compare reviews, specs and prices yourself.
Advertising
This site shows ads served by Google AdSense, and it may show ads from other ad partners such as Ezoic or Media.net. Ad partners choose which ads appear; we don't endorse the advertised products. See our privacy policy for cookies and opt-out options.
Sponsorships
Sponsored video mentions, banners, newsletter lines and pinned comments are always labeled as sponsored or as ads. Sponsors never choose, approve or change our footage, titles or commentary. Details are on our advertise page.
Viewer support
Viewers can support the channel through the options on our support page. Support goes toward public-records fees and production. It doesn't buy editorial influence.
Independence
The Chest Mount isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or paid by any police department or government agency. Questions about this page: contact@thechestmount.com.
